Tieria Erde and Gundam Nadleeh

Man! This guy looks so much like a girl. :| And he acts like "she's" having a period, being all grouchy and sour all the time. :| But good thing for him, I have a soft spot for girlish male anime "traps". :XD: Also, we all do know that Mr. Grumpy Tieria Erde actually has a sweet side to him. He actually cherishes his "friendship" with Lockon Stratos - he even cried when he died. :XD: Yeah... Manliest guy ever. :|

And his Gundam kinda reflects his overall look too. I've never seen a Gundam with such fabulous hair! :lmao: Gundam Nadleeh sure is an oddity in the Gundam world, and it's that uniqueness that made me draw this little piece of fanart. :D

I actually ditched Tieria's pink outfit here and gave him a blue one just to lessen his girly look, to no avail. :| And I even splattered a whole lot of pink in this drawing anyway, so... :| Yeah, as long as I enjoyed drawing this, I don't care how much pink it is. :XD:

Gundam 00 Raiser and Setsuna F. Seiei

I really like how most of the Gundam machines in any Gundam series always go through level two transformations. :D Especially for the "main" Gundam of the story. :D They tend to develop wing like apparatuses on their backs and end up looking like angels who will save the world from evil. :XD: We see this in Gundam Freedom, Wing Gundam Custom, G Gundam (with that rainbow halo on his back) and of course our Gundam here - 00 Gundam Raiser with the 0-Raiser jet engine at its back acting as the "wing" contraption. :D

I love how those GN particles shoot out from 00 Gundam's back when it's activated. It really amplifies the winged guardian look. (Although I also loved the GN particle output of one of the Throne Gundams - the one piloted by the girl. That was awesome too. :D) Those large rings of light are also a great touch. They look better in the anime off course, they're ginormous. :XD:

And I just can't draw 00 Gundam without his pilot now, wouldn't I? :D So there, Setsuna looking fierce - just wanted to draw him as if he's ready for battle and is damn serious about it. :D That hair of his is always such a fun thing to draw and color. :XD: And uhm... Oh no. Maybe I should've drawn Saji Crossroad too. I mean he's part of the tag-team - the pilot of the 0-Raiser Jet. :XD: Ah! Sorry Saji, I'll draw you in another fan art soon. :D

Btw, I'm almost done with Gundam 00 Second Season. How are things gonna end! :D :excited: Also, it's funny how Setsuna always says the word "Gundam" throughout the series. :XD: It's like everytime he sees anything important he'll pause and say "Gundam". :lmao:

Love Amidst War: Hallelujah Haptism/Mari Parfacy

Hallelujah Haptism and Mari Parfacy (a.k.a. Soma Pieres) make up a really cute couple. :D Considering how much they both went through and the shitty stuff that each of them have experienced separately (with Soma being used as nothing more than a super soldier and then she loses Smirnov who she sees as her father, while Hallelujah battles with his other personality and ends up killing a lot of people…) yeah, it’s only fitting that they end up together and finally live happily ever after. :XD:

So here, advance Happy Valentines to the world. Hallelujah and Mari holding hands, being all mushy and crap while machines go “boom” in the background. :XD: I didn’t intend for the background to be shaped like a heart in the first place, but well… Spur of the moment. And yes, the phrase I placed there pretty much sums up their relationship. :XD: Love in the midst of war. I had fund doing Marie’s hair here. And those purple explosions. And those beam lasers. :XD:

Rau Le Creuset and Providence Gundam

I love this guy's long and angry speeches about mankind. :evillaugh: Yes, this is Rau le Creuset - the villain of Gundam Seed himself, he who is the only one who has the right to judge humanity, the product of man's vanity and delusions of grandeur. :headbang:

He's my type of villain. :D Too bad he got impaled with Freedom Gundam's double beam saber and... Died. :cries: But dramatically though - with that mask of his ripping off but still his face wasn't shown fully because of the angle. :D A fitting end to a villain. :D

Actually I drew this because I'm celebrating my very first Gundam model kit. It's here: [link]

The Freedom Gundam and Justice Gundam were available in the store where I bought this, but I opted for Providence Gundam because... Those two other Gundams are so mainstream. :XD: Nobody loves the villain. But I DO!!! :D

I never imagined how frustrating it is at some point during the assembling process. I had trouble with the head. But when I did finish putting the parts all together, I was satisfied with the result. :D The price is a little steep though. Around 20 dollars. I think Providence will be my first and last. :D

So yeah, back to the drawing. I really wanted to draw a good pic of Rau. And I guess I'm satisfied with this - I wanted him to look cocky and judgmental, like he's mocking you with that deviant smile. :XD: And for the Providence Gundam in the background, I actually used the model I bought as reference. :D I never realized how much easier it is to draw Gundams when you have a movable replica. :D

By the way, I actually drew these two guys way back too. I posted it in my dormant Fanart-Central account. :D Here: [link]

Big change in style, eh? I made backgrounds using Photoshop before. Now, I try to avoid using that program and have my drawings hand-made as much as possible. :D

MY VERY FIRST GUNDAM MODEL!!! :D WEEE!!! :woohoo: Cost me 20 dollars though. :| Kinda pricey for a "toy", but it made me happy though. Putting the parts together, seeing the result - pretty fun. :D But I ain't buying another anytime soon. Or ever. Having this experience for once is enough for me. :D
And this model is gonna help me draw Providence Gundam much easier. :D

Saji Crossroad, Setsuna F. Seiei and Gundam Raiser

Well I promised myself I'd do a Saji Crossroad fan art - and after exposure to huge amounts of blue GN particles, here it be! :woohoo:

Meh. This is actually quickly drawn and colored. I just went through with it and so didn't bother much with all the details and shit - I even ditched their costumes to make this easier to draw and color. :| But I made this 'cause I really want to make some tribute to Saji. :D He reminds me of any of us "normal" people. We see wars in the television. Also poverty, chaos, disorder... Yet we never really think much about those. We think that because those things are happening far away from us, we feel that such issues don't really have anything to do with our lives. But then they do. And I just wish we don't end up like Saji who experiences such horrors first hand and gets mixed up with all the fighting and be forced to draw arms. :(

So yeah, there - Saji the unlikely hero. :D And his partner too, Setsuna. :D And the 00 Gundam Raiser. :D

Wake Up! Loran Cehack: Turn A Gundam

Since I got hooked to Gundam these days, I decided to try watching other Gundam anime shows thinking I might find something good. True enough, I found a gem! :woohoo:

It's Turn A Gundam.

The series is great! I love how the story is centered around a VERY familiar issue. I mean, seriously, we've got a LOT of wars and dissension because of groups of people fighting over land and the right to own it and live on it. It's sad 'cause in such cases, a peaceful agreement is hard to come by. I haven't finished the anime yet, so I am still gonna find out how the Moonrace and Earth people are gonna coexist in the end.

Also, what I love about this anime are the characters. :D I found myself liking almost all of them. :D There wasn't really an "evil villain" - just people doing what they thought were right. Many of them even did 360 degree transformations. :XD: Like that Corin guy and his two funny lackeys. I also like Diana Soriel and Kihel Heim doing switcheroos, Loran making me lol while dressing in drag twice and even mentions he had "fun learning how to be a lady" (and I thought Tieria Erde was bad enough) and some surprising romantic developments (Fran and the red guy, Kihel and Harry, Keith and the baker's daughter...)

My favorite pairing has to be Sochie and Loran though. :D Sochie's been trying to get "Laura's" attention for so long but he's just too preoccupied. I do wish they'll end up together in the end (good thing that Gavane guy who wanted to marry Sochie died. :XD: In a nuclear explosion. LOLZ) So I made this fan art for them. :D I wanted to draw a sweet candid moment with Loran and Sochie - she's making faces on the cockpit glass trying to wake Loran up and he's probably just dreaming about his toy fish. :XD: I colored this with a lot of "sunshine". :D Just wanted this cool, bright and pleasing. And sweet. :D

By the way, it's also a great change to see a Gundam running around farms and mountains and countrysides. The setting in this anime is such a refreshing change from all that space view.

AND THIS ANIME NEEDS A REMAKE!!! :D

Turn A Gundam: Loran, Dianna and the Butterfly

And then now, as I near the end of Turn A Gundam, I create this poster type fan art as a humble tribute to the Gundam gods. :XD: :boogie:

My favorite Gundam mech used to be the Wing Custom. Now, the title belongs to Turn A Gundam! :winner: At first, I hated how Turn A looked - lanky looking physique, ugly face, lack of flashy body armaments, a cockpit that looks like its balls... :lmao: But then, as I went through the series, I slowly begin to see Turn A's charm. :D And now, it's my favorite Gundam. :D I guess because it has an endearing aura exuding from it - it's lovable and funny looking, kinda' like the Iron Giant or Tetsujin. It's the friendliest looking Gundam in my opinion. And also I like Turn A for the following additional reasons:

1.) It has a mustache.
2.) Its head can turn 360 degrees. Haven't seen any other Gundams doin' that.
3.) It has a removable head. :XD:
4.) Has nanobots for self repair.
5.) It CAN blend.
6.) It can do your laundry. VERY well.
7.) Has the prettiest wings ever.
8.) The pilot rides in its crotch. :XD:

I also added Loran here and Dianna. For Loran, I wanted to draw him looking more like a Loran instead of a "Laura". :XD: I also gave him an epic serious face expression - like he's saying "lay off the fish, or I'll cut you with a beam saber!" On the other hand, I made Dianna as pretty looking as I can. :) Loved drawing those blue lips of hers. :XD: And finally for Turn A Gundam, I just gave him a decent pose, standing against the moonlight and having those nice butterfly wings spread out neatly. :D

By the way, this final art is actually made out of three drawings separately done on different pages in my drawing note pad. If I did them all together in one page, Loran and Dianna wouldn't fit and I would have to draw Turn A Gundam smaller - and so lessen it's details in the process. I put them together using Photoshop. :D

The solos are here posted in my Scrapbook:
Loran Cehack: [link]
Dianna Soreil: [link]
Turn A Gundam: [link]
Gay Loran/Laura: [link] This is just for the LOLZ.:XD:

So yeah, I'm almost at the end of the series. I just found out that Turn A has a "brother". :D Pretty awesome show so far! :D

Loran Cehack :D I drew and painted this for this fan art I made: [link]

:woohoo:

I drew Loran here the same way he's drawn in some of the official artworks - which I think were all AWESOME. Reminds me of Yoshitaka Amano's. :D

Turn A Gundam with his "Moonlight Butterfly" activated. :D I drew and painted this for use in this fanart - [link]

I haven't really seen the "Butterfly" used in the anime yet. I still have a few more episodes to go before the finale. :D Only saw it in the second opening theme. :D

This probably is my favorite Gundam - very uniquely designed. :D And probably the easiest to draw among all the other Gundam mechs because of its minimalist form. :D

I thought Tieria Erde was the worst. But here we go! Another cross-dressing Gundam pilot! :lmao:

Loran's a badder case than Tieria's. He did this twice and even said he "enjoyed learning to be a lady". :|

But yeah, he's still fun to draw. :D

Turn A Gundam: Fun In The Ocean

Just wanted to draw a fun scene featuring the characters of Turn A Gundam. :D I especially wanted Harry Ord to star in this pic. :XD: He's a fun character. :D He seems serious and composed and all that - but he's actually funny at times. :XD: Those cute pajamas he wore during a hospital scene, those quirky glasses, the way he wanted to give out autographs after seeing Loran with the ladies, his dance scene with Loran... :lmao: I gave him a funny pose here. :XD: Super hero style!!! Btw, usually the "masked man" in most Gundam shows always seem to be a bad guy. Good thing this masked man isn't. :D

And yeah, I also added Miashei and Sochie here - the unbeatable duo! :XD: And Loran... Swimming? Haha! :lmao: Also there's that ship they rode when they went back to Earth to chase after Guin (hate that guy, always knew he was up to no good). I like how they painted orange whales on it. :la: SO effin' cute! I had to put a REAL whale in this pic too for good measure - and it's a nice remembrance of the battle they had in the Moon's "ocean" - they actually had whales to help them. Lastly, I didn't really color the whole ocean... :( If I did, the paper wouldn't make it and the ripples forming on it would destroy the pic - it'll suck. :( :XD: So there! Still a fun pic to draw.

Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning and Gestalt Odin

I'm playing Final Fantasy XIII now! :woohoo: :boogie:

Problem is, the school where I'm working in currently celebrates its 100 years as an institution - so there are a LOT of things going on, activities all around, events that we need to cover, etc. And that also means we're busy with documenting most of them since we're in the Communication department. :D What I actually wanna say is that my time for gaming and fan art making has been cut down. :( :cries: AND THE PEOPLE ARE BEING BUTT HOLES. If I didn't have drawing and gaming to help me vent, I might have gone around waving a katana at random people.

Buuuuut... I'm able to find time to draw. Somehow. :XD: I can't just let go of the game yet! I wanna see the story progress. :D

Yeah, FF XIII sure is awesome! The graphics are stunning - they make my eyes VERY happy. :XD: The story is good too. That's why I always get REALLY frustrated when I come upon a boss that's hard to defeat since I wanna see what happens next badly. :XD:

For gameplay and mechanics, well... I'm not sure if I like it that much. Maybe for hard core gamers it's great, but for people like me who are usually after the story and art (and secretly would only want to play the game in god mode) find that it needs a LOT of getting used to. For me, it felt "new" in a bad way 'cause I can't dodge, run, move around or block while fighting enemies - and I always expect that with games like this. Even Final Fantasy Type 0 lets you dodge during combat. :| But yeah, it isn't that bad though. Also, fighting the bosses in this game is also HARD and annoying. :frustrated: Especially that Barthandelus bitch! And that Cid Raines guy who I'm currently fighting (and getting my ass kicked). :frustrated:

So here's a little fan art - Lightning with her Eidolon, Odin, in Gestalt mode. :D Just a simple drawing, but still the details on that horse almost killed me. :frustrated: By the way, Odin's head in horse mode looks like a sucker fish. :|

"Come, oh day of wrath.
Descend upon Cocoon and deliver the Maker.
Oh Ragnarok, bringer of the end."

When Fang turned into this, I thought - KYUUBI MODE!!! :D It's a very weird looking design. I personally think those "hair" of hers look like giant orange flavored candy... Or something... I don't know why I drew her. Guess I got a little hooked to the game. Or maybe I was just fascinated as how incredibly different she looked when transformed into this incomplete Ragnarok state. :| Or maybe I just wanna draw that nice Super Saiyan 3 type hairstyle. :D

Go super lesbo sister Fang!!! :D :lmao:

Magi: Aladdin, Alibaba and Morgiana

Another cool anime that I've just discovered - Magi! :D

On the surface, it looks pretty formulaic. All the elements of a typical Shounen anime are there - an underdog hero, an "arena" type setting where king candidates battle it out, the concept of honor, never giving up, selflessness... :D But no matter how generic it is, it's still a very fun show to watch. :D And I dig animes like these - very Naruto-ish. :D Plus the characters are funny and admirable. Take Aladdin for example. He's cute, innocent looking, but he's full of wisdom, a great judge of character, trust-worthy and a loyal friend. Also he's a booby connoisseur. :lmao: Every time he goes cuddling someone's boobs, it just cracks me up! :D And Alibaba too is a cool character. He's the one everyone likes to push aside and step on, but he has a strong hold of his morals, he thinks only of others and he's brave. :D But then he still has weaknesses for wealth and women. Not that it makes him look bad, it just makes him more human. :D

So yeah, this drawing. Excuse me for this one. I just wanted to get this done with. Just a simple lineart (and I'm REALLY bad with ink lineart), scanned and colored using Photoshop. Coloring technique is cartoonish. The usual block colors, disregarding the shadows and midtones ('cause I'm lazy when it comes to digitally colored art like these) and an overall bluish hue. :) Don't like this that much, but whatever. I always need to draw something from an anime I like - even though I rush them at times. :|

R.I.P. Neji Hyuuga: We Will Miss You

Neji's death caught me by surprise. Came out of nowhere! :lmao:

Could be worse though. That might have been Hinata. :D Ahh... I do wish Masashi starts killing off more Naruto favorites. :evillaugh: I personally wanna see how all the Narutards out there would go berserk or something. :D Masashi = Ultimate Troll! :D Such a great sensei! :D

So... Since Neji is dead, I made him a little tribute. I drew him here as if he's a ghost going to heaven. :D I didn't color this like usual with poster paints - just a simple pencil sketch and then gave it a sepia hue using Photoshop. Also those sun rays were made in Photoshop. :D I just thought drawing him in monochrome would look more dramatic. And sad. :D

I hope the heroes in Naruto would die. Including Naruto. GOOOO TEAM OBITOOO!!! :evillaugh:
